A Message From Liz Williams
Dear Elector
I am honoured to have been selected as your Conservative candidate in Imberdown, the West Sussex County Council division serving East Grinstead Imberhorne and Crawley Down. With local government currently navigating through significant national change, your vote in this West Sussex election is important.
This year West Sussex County Council, under the Conservatives, has delivered a balanced budget with no cuts to frontline services and no reliance on reserves. The Labour government has already announced WSCC will lose £30 million of government funding in the next 3 years. Only the Conservatives have a proven track record of financial prudence, service delivery and stability.
We are undergoing a period of great change. The Labour government plans to extend Gatwick and is on a mission to 'Build, Build, Build'. It is important that our towns and villages benefit from the investment this will bring, while at the same time retaining their Sussex charm and identity.
I live in Imberdown. My children attended local schools and played for East Grinstead Hockey and Rugby Clubs. I am on the Committee of the CDRA. As a Worth Parish Councillor, I know and understand the concerns that you have. If I am elected, I will work tirelessly to be a strong voice to represent you.
